Short Term Goal(s)

1. To organize a mentor program.

2. Activate mentorship program with OAAE/ODE/OSU

3. Assess the mentorship program.

4.  Assist in conducting workshops for 1-3 beginning teachers

A. Create a one page description of State mentor chair and mentor volunteers.

1. State mentor – term length, required commitments.
2.  District mentor chairs to establish mentor pairs for 1-3 year teachers within the district.
3. Local mentors- list desired characteristics, methods of selection, required commitments, and meeting schedules.

A. Create an exit survey or session.
