CAREER DEVELOPMENT EVENTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES
State CDE Advisory Committee members play an important role in the total decision making process for Ohio’s Career Development Events. It is with thorough and unbiased reporting of the concerns in each of the 10 districts, that Advisory Committee is able to develop recommendations for State Agricultural Education Leadership Corporation board final approval. The following list identifies duties and responsibilities for District Responsibilities who serve on this committee. 1. Attend two regular meetings, spring and fall. Additional meetings may be called by members of the committee. 2. Represent districts, regarding the concerns of all the programs in your district and bring these concerns to the meetings. 3. Assist in a leadership role in conducting Sub District, District and State Career Development Events. 4. Serve on CDE revision and development committees. 5. Coordinate district elimination contest and forward all of the results to the State Coordinator in a timely manner, on the forms provided. 6. Assist the district in the following state guidelines regarding sub-district and district CDEs. 7. Submit CDE change recommendations to the committee at the fall meeting. 8. Distribute state and district awards as needed to district and state winners. |
