Attend fruit coordinators meeting planned by the
Foundation and held at FFA center in the fall. Many of the fruit suppliers
will have small presentations on their respective company as well as the
current growing season and price outlook.
As a group, review the contracts and pricing to make
sure that companies are in compliance. The group will determine the start date
of the sale and set the minimum sale prices for the year.
Distribute information to the chapters in the respective
district.
Make sure the chapters submit sales summary forms to the
Foundation at conclusion of the sale.
Coordinators are contacted from time to time for their
guidance concerning various issues related to the fruit sale.
